Teething😷🤤

Teething is something we all go through as a child as part of ourĀ development process and growth. Children normally start teething anywhere from 4-7 months of age all the up to 3 where they have a full set of about 20 teeth. Those teeth stay nice and firm until your child is about 6-7 years old. Some children start the teething process sooner than others even right up to their first year. Having a child now helps me understand and sympathize with anyone else's child because of how much pain the child goes through during this process. At least I can speak for myself when I say that my child sufford a little bit from fevers, toothaches, diarrhea and all kinds of discomfort. So our jobs as moms is to soothe and comfort them. My son started teething right around 5-6 months, starting off with the first two bottom teeth. Those were the easy ones lol.Ā

Once he felt those two teeth, he started growing the top two middle teeth and then some on the sides of the top and bottom. Its important to have chewable toys that can help them soothe their gums. During this process, theres a lot of mood swings and drool all over. Lol. I tried to give him ice cream and cold drinks. I don't really recommend any medications at this stage unless youre using some kind of oral pain relief appropriate for your childs age. The best way to soothe your child is to pay attention to the signs and be a parent😁.
